About Us

Discover what makes us different...

VISION = Reconciling the world with its Creator.

Our vision can be summed up in one simple word: reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, "...as ambassadors for Christ, we have been given the message and the ministry of reconciliation."

.

Other words for reconciliation: reunite, meeting, peacemaker, return to peace, propitiation, the act of (re)gathering again.

VISION = Reconciling the world with its Creator.

Back = The Good News:

You've heard plenty of times that your sins have separated you from God. But the good news is that God has already made a way for you to return to Him... and His name is Christ, Jesus! There is no better message, no more powerful name, than Jesus, crucified in your place, so that you can return to God. And we have even better news! The story doesn't end with His death, but with His resurrection!

-

Reunite = The Only Prayer of Jesus That You and I Can Answer:

There is nothing more beautiful in the universe than true unity. These were Jesus' last words as he prayed for his disciples before his death—that we might be ONE! The church is a reflection of this fulfilled prayer, for only through the blood of Christ can we unite as one body—His body, the church. At Ambassadors, no matter what, we are one!

-

Again = The Daily Effect of Living in Christ:

The spirit and calling of Ambassadors is to see people transformed by the power of God through His Word. Our desire is to see everything new in your life. Coming to Christ is experiencing a new life where all things are possible, where there is peace in the midst of the storm, where you find forgiveness and redemption daily. And we don't just focus on the spiritual aspect; we seek to develop a body of believers who are healthy and strengthened in every area of life—socially, economically, spiritually, and emotionally!

-

Again = The Message of Grace:

In case you haven't heard it before, we're speaking to you! I know life is tough, and that's no exception when you have God in your life. But the best message we can give you is that, with Christ, EVERYTHING is possible... without dwelling on the times you tried and failed, and perhaps contrary to what you've been told, you CAN do it again. This is the life of a believer, and the testimony of every son and daughter of God: our perseverance in following Christ no matter what happens or what it costs. This is what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus. And not just disciples, but disciple-makers!

THE PERFECT PLAN

The purpose and importance of reconciliation...

Human beings were created perfect, in God's own image and likeness, through Christ, in Christ, and for Christ (Genesis 1, Colossians 1). This indicates that God's original plan was for us to always dwell with Him—to be one with Him. When Adam and Eve sinned, they were cast out (Romans 3:23) and expelled from the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:22-24), which represented the presence of God. This jeopardized the unity that existed with the Creator, and sin entered the world, bringing decadence and evil. This continued to separate us from God, but He did not intend to leave us in perdition. Rather, at the moment of our failure, God Himself devised a perfect plan to bring us back to Him (Genesis 3:15). That plan is Jesus! Now, through Jesus Christ, we can return to the Father and, therefore, fulfill His mission of reconciliation. to return to Himself, and to be reunited in Him again.

The work of the church is to serve as an embassy, creating a bridge so that others can reach their original state for which they were created by God—to be with Him forever. This is why we were given the ministry and the call of reconciliation, and why we are ambassadors of the Kingdom of God and His Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).

To serve as a breach!

This is what it's all about, this is who we are...

"The work of the church is to create ministerial bridges through which all can come to God. When this happens, the kingdom of God is manifested and heaven comes to us. As a ministry, we were called to do this very thing: to bring heaven to earth, expand the kingdom of God in the world, and turn our attention completely back to Christ. This is the time for Him to shine! We want to be a home of refuge for every person in need. We also provide training and develop leaders in various areas so they can be faithful and loyal contributors to society and the church of Christ." - Pastor Vic

The story behind our name...

Ambassadors of the Kingdom was established with a full understanding of what an embassy is and our belief that the church is like a heavenly embassy, directly representing the Kingdom of God on earth. An earthly embassy is a diplomatic representation of a nation in foreign lands. Therefore, this embassy conveys messages from its government to the foreign government and vice versa. It informs its nation about important political, social, economic, military, and other events occurring in the foreign country. It prepares treaties and official visits. And it promotes its own culture, economy, and science in the foreign country. An embassy also protects the interests and well-being of its citizens in such foreign countries.

Similarly, an embassy of the Kingdom of God (the Church) works in unity to transmit, inform, prepare, and promote the culture of the Kingdom of Heaven and the Father's will here on earth. In Philippians 3:20, the apostle Paul reminds us that our citizenship is not of this earth. Likewise, in John 17:16, Jesus himself declares that we are not of this world. Therefore, he has established a heavenly embassy on earth to restore humanity to its heavenly condition and nature.

OUR CULTURE

A unique and different culture...

As a church, we seek unity and fellowship among believers, founded on the solid principles of God's Word. We are joyful, kind, good-humored, passionate, helpful, and down-to-earth. We are a unique Latino church where we welcome people of all kinds and walks of life—no matter what stage they are in their lives. We don't just focus on bringing people to church; we bring the church to them! We don't seek perfect people, only people who desire to grow and walk with a perfect God. Some of the things that make us unique and different are our culture of excellence, honor, generosity, and grace. We are a multicultural and multiethnic church, for the whole family and generations to come!

Our Mother Church: We are currently part of our mother church, Storyside Church. Our Visionary Pastors, Victor and Nathalis Hernandez, are under the oversight of Storyside's Senior Pastors, Micah and Angel Pelkey, who serve as mentors and ministerial guides. Although our congregation is predominantly Hispanic/Latino, we are looking for ways to evolve and minister in both English and Spanish.
